John’s expertise includes diverse past roles, including Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Innovation at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where he founded the innovative LifeChoices program. John has published in multiple journals, including NEJMCatalyst and Journal of Palliative Care. In addition, he serves on the Board of Activate Care. He is also the co-founder and CMO of Gather Health, a socially focused senior primary care group where he continues to practice medicine. John completed his doula training at the University of Vermont and is board-certified in Palliative and Hospice Care.
